VW Campervan meet at Brighton

Mr P and I are intending on getting a camper van, well that's when the kids stop costing us so much money, hopefully before we retire!! So we decided that we would nip to Brighton and see the VW camper van's that were on display. There were some stunning pieces of workmanship but as gorgeous as the old  single and split screen vans are we have decided that we defiantly want one that you can stand up in. Looks very back breaking cooking your bacon and eggs, bent half double.

Here a some shots of our Sunday outing, the weather was pretty gloomy but we, were very lucky, it stopped rainy as soon as we stepped out of the car park and didn't start again until we got back in the car.

Emily

Emily is the daughter of a friend of mine. Today we met for a rummage through a few charity shops and then a coffee afterwards. Emily had a merry time with her oreo biscuits and a piece of mum's lemon cake.

A Sunday Walk

It was such a beautiful day that we decided to go for a nice long walk, with a bit of mushroom spotting along the way, I have never seen quite so many varieties, it's obviously a good year mushrooms and toadstools.

Sunday Tea with Aunty Trish

Auntie Trish bless her heart, decided it would be a good idea to reinstate the old tradition of Sunday Tea and invite all the family.
Having not done it for a long while, she had made enough food to keep us all going for a week, in fact various members of the family ended up taking a plate of something home, with instructions such as, "Take this for your lunch tomorrow". I had a chocolate cake, some coleslaw and slices of Spanish potato omelet all very yummy.

This is a selection of some of the family members.
Sorry to any members of the family that I missed but don't panic, I am sure now that Auntie Trish is getting the hang of things again, we can expect a repeat performance.
